Crippling, Poisonous, Silencing?
If you dont use any of those 3 conditions I mentioned then you don't do what ranger does best IMO. And if you really have to deal damage with your bow then get Fiery bowstring and use Conjure. Sundering doesnt do much on a bow. |

Condition given by a ranger are already quite long they don't needeed 33% longer and there are some creatures that they're not fleshy. Dazed inflicted by BHA is already quite long. Elemental damage can make more damage or less damage depending resistance of mob. Sundering works better with barrage. I don't wanna say that you're wrong but imo A good ranger must have a bow for any tim/mob/mission etc. I'M TALKING ABOUT PVE NOT PVP Last edited by Redvex; Nov 13, 2007 at 08:32 PM // 20:32.. |

Or, barring that, you can offer to sell the mods (un-attached) with the bow, if it will sweeten the deal. |

The only way making the conditions last longer can help is if you constantly change targets to spread the condition around, which IMHO takes too long and just simply spreads your damage out too much. (And then you only need to make the conditions last longer because it's taking you longer to kill things.) Sundering does as much for a bow as it does for any other weapon. (And, no, let's not start the old Sundering vs whatever again!) Btw, my ranger has over 10million XP and people know him. Last edited by Quaker; Nov 14, 2007 at 04:08 PM // 16:08.. |

Silverwing's are pretty high in demand right now, but there's no point in adding mods to it unless you're using it for yourself. The price barely changes and you could possibly be losing a little bit from adding these "show off e-peen" mods.

An Azure Recurve Bow has a cool skin imo, not sure how rare it is though.

I'm willing to be most people would buy a cheaper bow (such as an endgame NF bow) that already has perfect stats, then a 'rare' bow with just about the same stats for far more.
I know I have four bows, a shocking short bow, storm bow, a perfect poisoning bow, and the endgame NF bow, and I haven't paid more than 15k for all of them combined. Personally I think this is a lot better than paying 50k+ for some 'rare' bow with those stats...but then again there are people who have lots of money to burn (I know I don't after dropping 100k on primeval armor + dye). |

I think a celestial bow is a nice choice.
I personally love my Rotwing bow...........I always end up coming back to that bow after using others for a while. |

I wish they had a nice flatbow skin :-(. Right now i think storm bows still rock. Greatest animation. Nvr seen a silverwing recurve bow, bow without the animation, it looks pretty cruddy. Description says its glows when u fire, so i guesss thats kinda cool. But if you want it wait till GW:EN is a year or more older and buy the high reqs for maximum cheapness

Aside from that, Tormented look good, as do Celestials. I had a Storm bow for a while, nice look on those. Drocknar's are nice as well |

well all bows that require 9 markmanship or higher have the same attack, so it doesnt matter all that much. But most bows can be found of of drops
